This is a glass 'print' that I took from a mold I made with a sprig of thistle. The print is created by sifting powdered glass (first the 'pistachio' colored and then clear glass) over the mold and firing it in the kiln. It's delicate and thin, mounted with handmade walnut wood hardware onto a slab of sinker cypress. Hangs on the wall with picture wire.
