Collective human knowledge of how to accept the support of plants in healing has been repressed and recovered repeatedly through history. Stewardship of this collective memory and practice is at the heart of the fight for freedom and bodily autonomy. Restore the Archive; Rue triptych is a series of glass prints made from the impressions of the plant Rue, a longtime ally of human reproductive rights. Glass powder was kiln-fused over plaster-silica molds, then the glass ‘prints’ were manipulated while hot in the kiln, an expression of human agency and intervention.
