I was the recipient of Antenna Gallery's 2025 Louisiana Solo Exhibition, which came with the privilege of publishing a book as well as curating a sculpture exhibit, both of which I entitled Materia. Materia is a collection of glass and plant fiber sculptures inspired by community-engaged contemporary research in the field of herbal reproductive autonomy. The exhibit was an opportunity to connect with a curation of plants historically engaged in fertility outcomes. The companion book I created was published by Paper Machine. It contains historical framework for the work,in-depth descriptions of the collaboration between my community partner and myself, and full-page images of all of the work in the show.
